My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our third annual sisters’ cruise. This was our third trip to Bermuda, our second on the Summit. We are both easy-going, enjoy getting away from stressful jobs, and are delighted with the service on Celebrity.
Embarkation was extremely easy. We drove to the port from my home, arriving around 10 am. We followed the easy driving directions again posted by the Cruise Critic member on the Cape Liberty thread. The new terminal is very nice. We dropped off our bags and then went to park. Parking is $133 for the week. We then took a shuttle bus from the parking lot to the terminal. By 10:15, we were in a very short line to go through security and check-in. At 10:45 it was our turn to board and we picked up a mimosa along the way
We booked a dinner at the Normandie for the first night, taking advantage of the 20% discount. We ended up eating there again on the last sea day for lunch, also at a 20% discount. The food was excellent both times. The service was spectacular, was well.
We were in #2164 with amazing attendants, Anthony and Parague. They were friendly, knew our names on sight, and kept the cabin very clean. The room location is convenient to the Midship stairs/elevator, the route to disembark for the days in Bermuda
