Embarkation- We flew out of Buffalo (as it's cheap) and stayed pre cruise at the Marriott on West Cypress. It's close to tons of shopping which was nice. DO NOT USE THE HOTEL'S SHIP TO SHORE SERVICE! Six of us piled into a cab and the total fare was only 20 dollars as compared to sts's fee of 40$ We arrived around 11:30 and went right on the boat without a hitch.
Dining- Food was good, but I was sad to see that they took George off of the menu. We ate at truffles most nights, and other than the rather long service, the food arrived hot and plentiful. I ordered 2 lobsters at the Captains dinner and they just melted they were so tender. Lido deck food was mostly good. They didn't have a Gala buffet (why?) and I missed that. Also they changed the name of the chocolate buffet to the fruit buffet, but it was still delicious. Had the pizza, the sushi, and all was fine. You can get the sushi on the lido deck, which is much better than having to wait in the lineup.
Entertainment- Saw the comedian, the opening show, and the Holiday show (which is great for Christmas). The rest I was too tired to go too from our ultra busy days. The ones we did go to were great. I gambled a little and won 100.00 dollars, which always feels good.
Good space for four, but balcony is blocked by the life boat. Balcony was nice, and it's on the same floor as camp carnival which was really nice!
