The ship cruise was a constant source of uneasiness due to a cruising vibration that would not go away. The source of vibration was not the oceans waves , or foul weather (we had clear conditions) as much as the lack of stabilizer malfunction or some worn out propeller bearings. Who knows what really went on as we were never told. We ate at an upscale restaurant, on the upper deck one evening and my tail bone was in agonizing pain from sitting through a lengthy dinner. Sleeping in the cabin was a task when one had to get up to go to the bath room and keep from banging a calf into a dressers edge. Also, walking throughout the corridors was problematic while at sea and one was constantly banging sideways into a hallway wall. My wife and I have been cruising for years and this by far was the worst experience ever. We did find out that the ship was in dry dock back in August, but it was apparent that the main cruising problem was never properly corrected or it was covered up during sea trails. I am thankful that this terrible experience did not happen on our first cruise as we would have never sailed again.
The entertainment show schedule for the ice show was changed without enough notification for us to revise our other activities. We even made reservations for the show prior to casting off without success.
The service and food was good, but there was a major distraction due to the constant vibrations that we had to endure.
The cabin was suitable.
