Just got back today. When I read some of the reviews I was a bit nervous that this cruise was going to be bad. I am pleased to write that is was, in a word-Awesome! We stayed at the airport Marriott the night before which made cruise day a little less hectic. The ride to the port is long, about 1 hour. But getting luggage and people on the bus went very smooth. Yes, there are long lines at the Port of Houston and yes, one line just became another, but how else are a few thousand people going to get on the ship-there have to be lines. But, even that went smoothly.

We had a mini suite which was very roomy. Balcony was great. Food was average-nothing spectacular. Friday night is lobster and prawn night. On Wednesday and Thursday they turn one of the dining rooms into a crab shack. Wasn't bad for 20$ per person and was a nice treat away from the main dining room.

It took a few days for us to become familiar with the main parts of the ship. And there were sections of the ship we did not see because we did not know they were there. I don't know if they have a tour of the ship or not.

Cabin Review

Cabin AC

Clean. Very roomy. Full size bathroom with tub. Sleeper couch. Really liked it.
