I am sorry to say, that after 7 cruises on RCCL, we must part ways. With the past 3 being less than exceptional, I decided to give it one more chance. The ship itself is fantastic, as was the cabin (balcony-aft)and service (the only draw back here, was we found a large percentage of the help really did not understand English). But the one thing that was unacceptable was the food in the dining room. The steaks were thin. the lobster came with a sauce on it and then they poured butter on top of that. To me, they two really do not go together. I remember when the prime rib was at least an 1" thick, now it looked more like a thick sheet of paper.
Now that I have given the negative, here are some POSITIVE's :). Customer service was wonderful. We needed to make some adjustments to the dates & cabin, and they did it without question. The Promenade was fantastic Sitting eating Benn & Jerry's people watching, made for a great past-time while taking a break from the on-deck activities. The casino was great. The slot's paid out the service was quick.
The reason I have to say good-bye, is solely due to the food. When I cruise, I'm looking for great food, great balcony, relaxation and fun people (in that order).
Cabin was wonderful, I always book the aft balcony on RCCL because 1)the balcony is twice the size for the same price, and you have more privacy.
