My husband and I traveled on the Carnival Sensation as a wedding present. This was both of our first time crusing, and we didn't know what to expect. All and all The Sensation was a great cruise! Our cabin was neat and clean upon arrival, and our stewardest was always there to when needed. The meals were delicious and filling.

We didn't purchase any shore exertions, and we still had a fun time on the islands. It was nice to get off the boat, and look at the beautiful water, and in Nassau we even got to swim in it.

All of the other reviews are correct when they say it is a "big party", but what else do you expect? We didn't hang out by the pool much, due to the large crowd, but we found peace just sitting on the balcony looking at the ocean. We even enjoyed the adult only retreat, and the water slides. If you are a first time cruiser I recommend this everyone. We plan on taking a cruise with Carnival again in the future :)
