Hello All! Here is a brief recap of our cruise on the sensation from 02/06 -02/09. This was my 2nd cruise and my GF's 1st cruise. We booked this last minute, for our Birthdays, after finding a great price on a OV cabin, U144 on the Upper deck.

On the day of debarkation we drove to Port Canaveral from Tampa. From home to boat, it was less than a 2 hour trip. Super easy and I wouldn't hesitate to sail out of this port again. We also used Park n Cruise instead of parking at the port. Again, quick and easy and I wouldnt hesitate to use them again. Once dropped off at the port we were literally on the boat within 15 minuters. Helpful hint; it pays to follow directions and check in online via Carnival before arriving at the port! Once onboard (sometime between 12:30 and 1pm) we went to our stateroom hoping it would be ready, and it was! We dropped off our carry on's and went to the Lido deck for lunch. After lunch we got our 1st DOD and explored the ship before settiling in on the Serenity deck to realx. Unfortuantely it was a cold, overcvast and windy day for FL standards but we made the best out of it. After the Muster Drill we changed due to the chilly weather but returned to the Serenity deck for sail away. Once out to Sea we explored ths ship a bit and took a nap before dinner. We enjoyed "any time dining" and never had a long wait fo a table. As a matter of fact we enjoyed our wait staff so much the 1st night we requested their station on the rest of the cruise. Overall the ship is very well kept although it is an older and smaller ship. The staff everywhere went above and beyond. Plus their is so much to do you can always find "your thing". We arent pool people so we would walk through the main pool area but never stopped to partake. Of course this is a fun ship so there are drunk people but they never interfered with our day! We also took part in the Chef's Table and this was a WONDERFUL experience and very much worth it IMHO. I wouldnt hesitate to sai this ship again!

Our only port was nassau. Great place. You do get hasseled leaving the ship area as this is where all of the Taxi and tour services are. A firm "no" and we moved on without issue. We made our own day here. we walked to Junaknoo and enjoyed drinks at the tiki bar there. The we walked to john Watlings rum distillery. Great place! We then walked back through the market to pick up souveniers. After droppinf off our stuff on the boat we took the water taxi to Atlantis and explored. BIG, fun place. We took a regular cab back to the boat and this ended our self guided tour. Very fun day indeed.

Cabin Review

Good location. No noise to speak. I enjoyed this deck and would book here again.
