NOS Western Caribbean Cruise October 28, 2006

Our flight to Miami was booked through Royal Caribbean and we took a very prompt Comair flight from Cincinnati. The only problem we had was a one hour wait in baggage at the Miami airport and the disorganization we experienced with RCCL personnel in baggage. The bus trip and luggage collection to the Port of Miami can go very smoothly if you have your tip money in hand to hand to the RCCL staff and porters as well as the bus driver.

We arrived at the Port of Miami to experience a very smooth arrival on board and it only took 45 minutes at around 2 PM to get checked into our cabin and then head down to the Windjammer restaurant for our lunch. Since we had 6 PM seating for dinner we did not eat much at the Windjammer. I must say the selection was wonderful but not the tastiest! The hamburgers had been out too long! I decided we would try and eat as many of our meals in the Dining Room since I find the quality in the Windjammer to not be very good. All three of us expressed this concern about the Windjammer. The food is presented very well but the taste of the food is not what it should be.
