This was our 3rd cruise on Celebrity. Our 1st two were on Century, after it was refurbished, and Equinox. Constellation cannot compare with the other two. It just seemed a bit run down. The bed was soft and lumpy. The concrete on the balcony was chipped away so they were hard pieces that we were stepping on. The bathroom, while functional, just seemed old with the white vanity that had a couple of chips in it. It was tough to find a chaise lounge on deck 11 that did not have broken straps. This was just not the attention to detail that I was used to with Celebrity.
On the positive side, the cabin was roomy and storage was never a problem. Peter, our stateroom attendant was terrific. He always peeked out of another room when we were leaving ours so he could make our beds before we came back or turndown our beds in the evening.
The food in the MDR was decent, not great but not bad. We did eat one night in Tuscan Grille and enjoyed it. Again, good but not great. We never had any problem finding a table at the buffet for breakfast and the food was hot and fresh. Except for one rude, never a smile on her face, indiviual at Guest Relations (why she's there, I don't know), every employee had a smile and was willing to go out of their way to help.
