1. My time dining means nothing, organised chaos, no times available between 7.30 and 8.45 on any night 2. Entertainment or should I say lack of. Some nights no shows at all. When shows were on, only once was there an early and late performance to suit all dining times. 3. No ironing facility (unlike P&O) and $5.00 dollar charge per item for the ship staff to do it, rip off. 4. Bar prices 50% ...

VERY NICE CRUISE

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on Liberty of the Seas

We just returned from a wonderful 7 night cruise of the Eastern Mediterranean on the Liberty. The highlights are as follows: 1. Embarkation- A+..a breeze!! We arrived at the port around 11:30 am and found only 6 other people checking in. We were on the boat in 10 minutes. Rome is the best port to leave from since only 800 or so guests board in Rome. 2. Food- B..Obviously the food isn't what you ...

Liberty of the seas certainly provides the WOW factor, departed from Barcelona on a western Mediterranean cruise in August. Embarkation was a breeze and we were so excited to get onboard. Cabin was clean and cabin steward was great, we were on deck 10 which I would recommend as handy for the Windjammer and you can always get downstairs if the lifts are busy faster than you can climb up several ...

We are a family of five and not first time cruisers. The main purpose of this cruise was to celebrate the on-board wedding of my niece. There were thirty three of us, in total, in varying ages (from 2 years of age to 88 years of age). A majority of those attending, were first time cruisers. HOTEL: We stayed at the BAH - Barcelona Airport Hotel for 5 nights prior to the cruise departure and then ...

Dinning - We eat in the main dinning room 4 times and the Windjammer 3 times, after long days of sightseeing. The service in the dinning room was excellent, we did the My Time Dinning which I booked before we left and worked out really well, as we had the same waiters and table each night. However we were a little disappointed at the standard of dress that was allowed in the dinning room. As this ...

This was a true family cruise with my adult children and teenage grandchildren. We are familiar with RCCL and this cruise lived up to all expectations. Had 2 adjoining Junior Suites and opening the balcony partition allowed us to move back and forth with ease. I roomed with my 16 yo. granddaughter and 14 yo grandson. The walk in closet gave us an additional dressing area. The dining room staff ...

Many positives--some negatives. First of all, boarding the ship, leaving the ship, even via tenders--never a line. Remarkably well organized for a ship this size. The ocean view room I had, not the largest but well organized. Not a lot of closet space at all--I didnt need much, but if you needed a lot of space this would be not good for you. I prefer smaller closets and more actual room space. ...

Last year, my husband and I took this same itinerary in July. We LOVED it so much, all due to the staff, that we took the cruise again, but this time invited my son, and his fiancée (proposed the day before we left). We ALL had the time of our lives, and by far and away, Liberty of the Seas is the BEST of RCCL due to the STAFF! Bhushan, the Maitre'D and head of the Windjammer and Portofino ...
