Carnival has lost touch

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on Carnival Elation

This was my fourth Carnival cruise and first on Elation. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. If you enjoy being around people that have low values, this is the cruise line for you! The food was overcooked, dried out garbage that I wouldn't feed my dogs. The service that Carnival was previously known for being excellent and the welcoming of the staff is gone. The majority of the staff ...

Disappointing 2nd Cruise!

This was our 2nd cruise. The first was with Celebrity, Equinox. It was fabulous, so we chose to go on a different ship....thinking it was the one we cruised the first time, but when we looked back later, realized it was not. But thought it will be ok. We only had 2 port stops. One was canceled at the last minute. We were not given any money back for this at all. We NEVER would have taken ...

Embarkation - Absolute breeze once the Police Dog approved of us getting on board. #DogsRule Port staff was very friendly and accommodating. Time from car drop off to stepping on the ship and into cabin approximately 15 minutes. We were Suite Level therefore our cabin was ready and we were able to stay in the cabin if we chose. Muster Station process quick and easy. Just find Muster ...

First time cruiser. It was ok at best. The two comedians were fantastic! The cruise director was very nice and great at his job. The food was terrible. There were people smoking and vaping in places that they shouldn’t. There shouldn’t be smoking period. It smells so bad all over the ship. The casino was so full of smoking that it was even hard to go into the small non smoking area. Room was ...

My LONG Elation Story

Please see my extensive review with photos and FunTimes by clicking on “Carnival Cruise Lines”, then “Elation” and then scrolling to “My LONG Elation Story” The story is too extensive to share in 150 words. It includes pictures of the ship itself and the ports we visited on this cruise. Elation is the smallest and oldest Carnival ship but very well maintained and the food was excellent. ...

Carnival Elation Review

We sailed on Carnival Elation to the Bahamas and felt it was an incredibly chaotic experience. There was something wrong with the boat which delayed our departure time and ended up canceling one of our port visits. Communication was very confusing and disjointed. Our morning in Nassau, our catamaran and snorkeling excursion was cancelled due to "not enough interest." When we arrived at the ...

I wish I could give no stars . This vacation was not anything I imagined . First, our boarding time was pushed back by 3 hours . Next, the rooms were not ready and we didn’t pull off from the port until almost 8/9pm due to maintenance. Once on the ship, the floors begin to flood and the worst part of all is I paid $2000 and only got to go to HALF of my destinations. The captain sent a letter ...

Horrible Customer Service

I have delayed writing this review because I really don't like being negative and have enjoyed my other Carnival Cruises. The cruise itself was okay, not great, just ok. The staff was friendly and did a good job. The ship was smaller than other ships I have sailed on in the past and it seemed a little more crowded, especially at the pool area. The interior room was fine except for the loud bang ...

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS CRUISE LINE!

This cruise ship was one of the worst vacation cruises of mine and my family’s life! Between the terrible food the you have EVERY SINGLE DAY, to the service, protection of your well being and experience. You get left overs every day, so all we ate was the ice cream due to it being the only thing fresh. The security did not care about the well being of my child when other older children threatened ...
