Great cruise

Review for a Europe - Eastern Mediterranean Cruise on MSC Splendida

MSC has great quality of both service, food, entertainment, modernity of the ship for the price. You can't expect the level of Azamara or the latest ships like Icon of the Seas if you pay for a cruise even 300 or 400 for 7 days. I've been on five MSC cruises and they all completely delighted me, the service is phenomenal and classy. Very nice, everyone smiles at every step, helps. A very large ...

Ship old and falling apart Excursions sold out first day. No shuttles to towns only in Florence where you are left at the port area need to catch a train and bus which took over two hours to get to Florence. Leaving two hours to explore. Dining. Food is the same each day Service is mixed some staff are rude especially at reception when entering the restaurants and in Maltings ...

Crystal symphony Riviera Cruise

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Crystal Symphony

The ship is lovely and the suite was spacious and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable. The housekeeping staff did a terrific job as our room was always impeccably clean. The butler seemed stretched too thin; was unable to help with unpacking. The food was very good. Not exceptional but very good. The service at the buffet was excellent; best we’ve ever experienced at a cruise buffet. The ...

Celebrity Loyalists Try Royal

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Anthem of the Seas

As noted in the title. My wife and I are Celebrity people, but the itinerary finally created our first trip on Royal. Also, we are empty nesters not traveling with children. Keep these two factors in mind since they heavily influence our opinion. Overall - Great cruise, great trip, and a great time. Would do Royal again but will lean towards Celebrity. We did have an itinerary change due ...

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Ventura

We were a bit afraid of traveling as we heard about the norovirus bug going on on Ventura on the previous trip before ours. We received an email from P&O advising us that boarding was running 4 hours behind so we needed to get to the terminal 4 hours after our original boarding time. As we do not live anywhere close to Southampton, we decided to leave early, and due to the fact we got to ...

Celebrity Cruise Dissapointing

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

User Avatar

If you are looking for a high end cruise, DONOT choose Celebrity cruise lines. The tours were like cattle calls, the food is mediocre and the service is sub par. I also was very disappointed with the spa - the facilities are "tired" and not luxurious. I shared my feedback and was told someone would get in touch with me, but the did not. And the debarkation expeience was horrible. After ...

First time on Celebrity after sailing Royal and Carnival through our kids younger years. Looked forward to a grown up experience and better food. The grown up experience was delightful, but the food was horrible. I can’t emphasize enough how horrible the standard food was from the Oceanview Cafe to the Silhouette Main Dining. We ate off ship as much as possible and booked THREE speciality dinners ...

Great ship, good food, top class entertainment

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Celebrity Equinox

Having been on the Edge last year I was not sure what it would be like to travel on an older but yet refurbished ship. We had a great time, ship was spacious, modern interiors, good open spaces, entertainment was superior to the Edge and staff generally very friendly. Great cruise director. Although only 1 main dining room, the menu was varied enough. Lots of activities on sea days. Some teething ...

Tired

The ship is looking very tired now and would benefit from a major refurbishment especially the air conditioning. All of the staff were very good and helpful. The menu was monotonous and we became bored of it very quickly in the buffet area on deck 9 and was probably aimed at targeting a more advanced in age person - Im sure that there is no need for a roast dinner for Lunch and Dinner 7 days ...

First time cruising and had the best experience. Beautiful cruise and would definitely be booking again. Staff were so polite and helpful all day every day, always cheerful and smiling. Never failed to put a smile on mine and my family’s faces. Went so fast, but best time. Food was amazing and in the windjammer you are welcomed by someone know as ‘ washey-washey ‘ who makes everyone’s day better ...
