We chose Coral princess to take us around Alaska's inner passage because friends recommended it. It is a smaller ship which I think is perfect for Alaska. Our service was good. The way the food is now a days, I make sure we go to a specialty restaurant for really good food. The coupon book you receive first day has a BOGO deal that will save you $25, but must be booked that day. Be sure to book ...

Amazing week on the Coral Princess

We were two families with three kids total, ages 15, 14 and 9. Having read some of the recent negative reviews, we kept our expectations low but they were all greatly exceeded. From the moment we stepped on the ship, the staff members were friendly and helpful. Because it’s such a small ship, many of them got to know us personally and addressed us by name. We found the ship in great condition ...

Awesome FIRST Cruise

The cruise was awesome. All of the staff we encountered were very pleasant except for one and I chalk that up for just having a bad day. We all of them occasionally. The reason I say this is, every time we saw this person after the "not so good" day, they were always in a pleasant professional mood. Even though Princess states the Coral was completely refurbished a few years ago - it really is ...

We went on this very 1st cruise as a family (2 parents in their 50's & 3 adult children in their 20's in a separate room). I picked this ship and itinerary after hours of researching the best option for us. I knew I really wanted to be on a smallish ship that could get close to Hubbard Glacier and take us thru Granite Bay (Captain Todd McBain did a fantastic job getting us within 1/4 mile to ...

We cruised from Vancouver to Alaska, followed by the Princess tour to Denali Park. From beginning to end it was a fantastic trip. The cruise line lived up to every expectation. We chose a cabin with balcony on the Emerald deck which was nice with a comfortable bed....my only suggestion is that it needed a more comfortable chair, rather than an armless desk chair. The food was delicious and ...

My family and I wanted to experience Alaska and Vancouver. We did the 3 day land excursion and seven day cruise on the Coral Princess. Words cannot describe the overall amazing experience we had. It was surreal from the land, the ship, entertainment and dining perspective. The views Princess afforded us on land at each lodge and during transportation throughout Denali National Park was unsurpassed ...

So many events and shows to keep you busy. Best of all, all the staff were super awesome, friendly, attentive and courteous!! We were treated like royalty throughout the trip!!! This reason alone makes us want to do it again! Thank you Nino, Mariam and Seon! Everywhere you went on the ship were clean! There’s enough staff to ensure you have everything you needed and more! Food was delicious ...

We had never been to Alaska and found this cruise to be wonderful. All the staff worked very hard to make this a great experience. The ship was a moderate size and somewhat older, but it was hard to tell this, as it was well kept. The food was the best of any cruise so far. The entertainment was first class, and not of poor quality as I have experienced on other cruise lines. The two ...

I would highly recommend this trip! The cruise staff were excellent! Food outstanding - and plenty of it!! Entertainment was varied - there was something for everyone!! We really enjoyed our excursions - especially the helicopter ride to the glacier as well as whale watching, crab eating, zip-lining, and whitewater rafting. The exercise classes available were great as well as the Lotus Spa ...
