Very enjoyable time on Regal Princess. Embarkation and disembarkation were smooth, we took the princess transfer from ship to airport on the last day, excellent. It was good to arrive at Copenhagen airport at least 3 hours before your flight time as so many people flying out and long queques at check in, security and immigration.
Very happy with the ship, cleanliness, food, services and the ...
I chose this area particularly to go the Hermitage in St. Petersburg. The other ports were lovely also. Enjoyed the 3 hour drive to Berlin. Was disappointed in the fast food lunch. Would have preferred a sit down meal. That guide had an agenda and has since left the company. Talinn was a charming surprise.
So much to see. I would go again. Not too much walking for an old lady! The ship's ...
Our cruise vacation started with an extra day in Copenhagen. We spent the night at the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers. The hotel provided a free shuttle from the airport…just had to meet them outside Terminal 2 after giving them a call. This hotel was spacious and conveniently located next to the metro and train stations. The hotel was clean and the bedding great. Michael checked us in and ...
Overall, the Royal Princess & the Baltic Cruise were great! The ship is extremely nice, well laid out (with a few shortcomings) and the crew was very focused on making the passengers happy.
First the downside: The lack of a promenade on the Royal is a major issues for those of us that like to walk on the deck. The Princess "answer" is to walk on the running track on the Sports Deck; that is a ...
We booked this cruise because of the itinerary, it was our first experience with Princess. We researched this ship and looked at other reviews, so I feel we went into it with realistic expectations. The destinations were fantastic, and lived up to what we expected.
Since this is Princess's largest ship currently sailing, we knew we would be dealing with many people. It was an incredibly diverse ...

Let's get the good news out. The Royal Princess is a wonderful ship. It is big but without feeling like a big ship - None of the public places ever felt full with cruisers. The cabin staff and the dining room staff were nothing short of wonderful. The food was great.
Our cabin was well appointed and clean - albeit a little smaller than we had stayed in on previous cruises.
The crew certainly ...
This was my 13th cruise, of which 2 were with Princess. I was amazed how good the food was in all the venues, even the dinner buffet we visited often. This cruise was very port intensive, and some days sitting in the main dining room was just extra time we didn't want to lose. All the personnel throughout the ship were very helpful and pleasant the entire cruise. I have never made this typoe of ...
I was quite reluctant about sailing with Princess for the first time and the Royal in particular having read the reviews.
One thing most of us are in agreement with is how beautiful the ship is, particularly the atrium. We were in cabin L105 at the very front of the ship, above the bridge on Lido deck. This was a mini-suite which is classified as having an obstructed view which is due to the fact ...
The ship is a big and beautiful with plenty of activities, shopping and dining options. However, the ship is just too big in our opinion.
There were long waits at the elevators only for them to open and be full. During special clearance sales of ship merchandise, I have never experienced such a frenzy of rude, pushing people trying to buy cheap items. And during the Captain's Champagne party, ...
