Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, sitting area with sofa, 32 inch LCD TV, wireless connection, two beds convertible to queen size, vanity, bath with shower stall and washbasin. Additionally, suite veranda features lounge seating. Some cabins may have a trundle bed.
Cabin - we had a sunrise / aft stateroom with balcony, highly recommend this as sometimes its nice to have your own space. The room itself was always spotless and clean the bathroom was well big enough so was the shower, plenty of space in the draws and wardrobe.
The Room Maid - Rhonda was wonderful, always cheerful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her. Read entire member review >>
Bed next to the bath, average size balcony with room for two chairs and a small table. No overhang so if weather is inclement, then you cannot sit out there. soot was only a problem on some days when the wind blew in a specific direction, but our room steward had it washed down daily. it is a long way from the elevators which is excellent if you want the exercise and the peace and quietness. Our room was 6809 and a sunset veranda. We loved loved loved our deck as it was a panorama view and it was extremely quiet. The staff that took care of our room was very, very good. They learned our schedules so we were never interrupted and our room was always very clean. We took advantage of the storage above our beds. (We had three adults to our room and there were two twin size beds and a couch that was also twin size). There were two North American plugs in our room. Read entire member review >>
Great cabin. As it is center aft, i think it's a bit wider than most. When you look at the cabins on either side it definitely looked bigger. The Eclipse cabins had nicer bathrooms, with glass doors on the shower, which makes it much nicer. Dopey me didn't realize I had storage over the bed until the last night. You don't get as much side to side motion, but if the ship is "porpoising", you feel more of that, and you can get engine vibration. When the ship is traveling slowly you may smell diesel. Sounds negative but it's great cabin and I'd gladly book it again. Read entire member review >>
We were 'upgraded' by our travel agent before we left home, from a mid-ship balcony cabin to a Sunset Veranda at the back of the ship. Great views but sunsets of course were limited depending on which way the ship was sailing. The exhaust from the ships funnel often cascaded down to our balcony resulting in having to keep the patio doors closed. Another time we returned to our cabin to find it infested with tiny flies as they were trapped in the still air at the back of the boat. The wake behind the boat was very noisy and we felt every wave, which made us feel that the boat was somewhat unstable. We had a long walk from the cabin along a corridor to the nearest lift. (Was this an upgrade or a downgrade?) Read entire member review >>
Small but ample closet. 5 small drawers. Small but adequate bathroom with great storage space and wonderful shower. The cabin room was large compared to those we have been in before. Our Sunset Veranda (aft) was on deck 6. Very quiet room. The only sounds we ever heard were those made by the propellers 6 decks below in the rear of the ship. Read entire member review >>
Our cabin was 7334 and we found it terrific. The sun shone on the balcony all the way down but not on the return. It is in a very quiet section of the ship and indeed for a long time we thought our neighbouring cabins were empty Read entire member review >>
We were in 7364 and it was very nice on the back of the ship. Very clean. Biggest bathroom we have had. Not a lot of drawer space. Bed very comfortable. Beware at the back on such a low level like ours, you do hear the ocean turning as the ship moves the waters and sails along....we enjoy it, but this may be loud for some. Across from Crew storage space, but no noise.
Great view. Nice balcony. If you are booking I would do floor 7 0r 8 versus 6 because crew walks on the extension over the Tuscan restaurant.
All Soltice ships have same room, space and layout. All are very good. Showers are excellent. Larger than most ships. Storage is large. Not as good as HA though. They have changed where safe in on the Eclipse compared to other older soltice ships. They have added more rack storage in the closed due to moving the safe. Read entire member review >>
