We got tired of Caribbean Islands, and have always wanted to see India. We weren't disappointed!
Ship was OK, not new but fine. The crew were excellent, especially the Customer Relations desk which helped us out when my wife lost her medications and had to have replacements sent by UPS to Oman.
We didn't go to the entertainments.
The food was good but not great. Good steaks, Prime Rib and ...
This is an older ship as has been reported. On the whole this doesn’t create issues as Celebrity has tried to keep the ship fairly tidy but it’s due for a major refit next year. Generally staff were all very cheerful (except the guy on the bar in the main dining room who was also very reluctant to give you a glass if you ordered a beer or a can)! The Captain seemed a really nice chap and we did a ...
We have travelled with Celebrity before including this ship and Equinox. Although old and due for refit the overall condition was good. A few areas could do with some updating overall it was good with some areas having recently been re-fitted. Our cabin was good. Service was excellent everywhere and the food generally very good. Entertainment varied as it does on all ships but was up to standard. ...
We loved the itinerary of this cruise. Singapore embarkation was quick and luggage delivered to our room. Our Balcony cabin 8031 was spacious with enough closet space. However the bathroom mirror fogged up after the shower. We reported it to the house keeping and front desk. After 3 service call the repairman couldn't fix the problem indicating the problem with their exhaust system of the ...
Let's face it. A 14 day cruise from Shanghai to Singapore for under $1,000 is a no brainer. Thought the charge ($270) was quite high for WiFi. Shore excursions pricey. Drink packages expensive. Mandatory tips. Shops concentrated on very expensive items. But here's the deal. 14 days to fabulous ports and they are still charging what they probably charged for a cruise like this 10 or 15 years ago. ...
We have cruised with Royal Caribbean in the past, but decided to try Celebrity this time. We were not disappointed. From start to finish, we were delighted with every aspect. From staff, catering, entertainment ports of call and customer service, we finished our experience on a high and can’t wait to book our next one with Celebrity. Having a proper coffee lounge was a huge plus for us which gave ...
was Looking forward to sailing back on Connie after doing the med on her in May however we were on deck 9 and had a bad overhang. this time we had deck 11 perfect rooms. It was the same matrie d in Blu and Laurence was fantastic being a vegetarian she remembered us and straight away we got the same table every night and same waiter.
Shame the entertainment and shows were the same as back in ...
My review will be on the ship/cruise line primarily which was more of a disappointment than I expected despite my previously reading reviews of the cruise line and the ship itself. I've cruised RCL, NCL, Oceania and HAL, and even done a few river cruises so I have several points of comparison. This ship's weakness comes close to my HAL experience which is why they will be added to my one and done ...
A long awaited visit to this region after the trials and tribulations of getting the e-visa for India , we were very excited about the cruise
The embarkation was very efficient after a long tiring drive from Dubai airport. The cabin wasn't ready until later but we had the use of the other areas while waiting and had lunch in Ocean view restaurant which was adequate.
The ship was not as ...
The missus always wanted to visit India so this cruise itinerary gave us an ideal opportunity to experience India and ‘test the waters’ as such.
We’ve sailed on many ships on different lines and only once prior had we sailed with Celebrity on the Equinox and we have fond memories of a classy ship with great food. On that, the Constellation didn’t disappoint. The food was really good and the ...
