We were originally booked on NCL Breakaway for November to Florida and the Bahamas. We decided we would rather do Bermuda, and by going in August, our 14yr old son would not miss any school. We chose Summit over Breakaway due to price.
Check in at the pier was very simple. Only hiccup was security took our extension cord and power strip. An extension cord was provided but witout the power ...
Only complaint we stayed in a Sky Suite 6146 and if you book that suite be prepared for closet space as there is not much plus the door only makes the room dark it needs a window or two also.
. Now for the good everything else our Butler Judas was outstanding he was always around to take care of everything. The balcony was large we had two lounge chairs and a small table plus a large table and ...
Just returned from Bermuda, we loved the Island but most of all loved the ship and crew. This was our 61st cruise over the last 35 plus years so I am no novice, this is my opinion of the ship, cabin, dining, entertainment and crew. The Ship is in excellent condition built in 2001 but just out of dry dock this year (2016) She shows little signs of age just a little rust here and there which is to ...
We chose this cruise because it was a smaller boat, leaving from near our home, and was a part of the Autism on the Seas program. It fell during our son's summer vacation and seemed like the perfect first cruise for our family. And, it absolutely was! This was a fantastic experience! The Autism on the Seas staff made it easy - their program includes such gems as: assistance through security, ...
I chose this cruise because Bermuda is just gorgeous and I was on the Summit last year and had one of the best times ever so I wanted to do it again in suite class this time. Embarkation was as smooth as you can get. The cruise was awesome. From the sky suite (6131) with one of the largest balconies for a sky suite to the excellent butler, concierge in Michael's Club and the maitre'd hotel ...
My parents and sister sailed on the Summit last week and we had a good time. My sister and I are in our 20's and my parent's are in their 50's. We are from Philadelphia so it only took less than 2 hours to get to Bayonne. This was my sister and I 12th cruise and my parent's 14th. We sailed on the Summit 6 years ago Canada and it was nice to sail on her again to Bermuda.

We chose this cruise because the timing worked well for us. Bermuda was an ideal getaway for us and the Celebrity Summit was given good marks by others. We were disappointed with the Spa which we felt was no better than the one we have at home, but costs four times as much.
The ship was well taken care of and the deck 3 outside window cabin was really nice.
The food was OK, but the ...
we love celebrity (7x cruised) and will return again but this cruise was a miss. This is not the Celebrity we know. The ship was overwhelmed and overcrowded (full with 400 kids). It felt it was bursting at the seams. Children were running unaccompanied throughout the ship. Children constantly in hot tubs (often up to 4) and were in the solarium. Worst--children frequently on bar stools after 10 ...
We love Bermuda and had been there before, both on a shorter cruise and by air. This cruise was a treat for a special family member. We booked concierge class and could not have been happier. The concierge met us at check-in, which was will done, and was helpful throughout the cruise.
Our party had adjoining cabins which provided as much space as we needed. The room stewards were absolutely top ...
My wife and I enjoyed our cruise very much. I will start my review with the glitches in order to get the not so good out of the way.
Glitches
Both toilet and electrical issues that were eventually addressed and resolved. Lack of prompt communication from guest services/concierge regarding a canceled event we were looking forward to attending.
Embarkation was very smooth and quick. The ...
