Carnival New Orleans Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Fantastic Cruise & Hotel Near Port

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Dream

This was my first cruise. I had a great time. The room steward we had was absolutely the best and went out of their way to make our voyage fantastic. Entertainment was amazing. Only issue I had with the food was the blandness they tend to need to fix it to accommodate the most food tastes. While the food was bland it was good. The dining room had a different menu every night (other than a ...

Best Cruise with Carnival I have experienced.

This cruise was a "Kick in the Pants FUN" there were five in our group and we had an amazing time. We made the most of every moment and found ourselves so tired that sleeping was literally a dream...pardon the pun. I've read many of the reviews that were negative on this site and yes we had some negatives too. But, if that's your personal focus then that is the experience your hang on to. ...

My husband and I had taken this cruise many years ago from a different port and ended up avoiding a hurricane at the time. We could not go to Cozumel because the docks were blown out so stayed out to sea for an extra day. We had been to this port previously on another cruise so weren't affected or disappointed. Safety first! We thought that this time we would rebook the cruise to see the sights ...

PROS: - Embarkation and Debarkation - both fast and efficient. We were prepared for a very long wait and a slow process so maybe that helped us view it as a more positive experience in the end. - Food - all around delicious! Again, we went in with rather low expectations and came out extremely pleased. - Service - all around outstanding. Almost every interaction was positive. - ...

This was our 5th time on the Dream. It is one of my favorite ships. We stayed in an interior cabin because we like the cost and the darkness while sleeping. We are in the cabin very little. Basically only to sleep and shower. The food was fine, and I enjoy the Guy's burgers, the Burrito bar and all the choices at the dining room. We always pick anytime dining when it is just my wife and me. The ...

Chose this cruise because hadn't been on one for a few years an seemed like a good itinerary even tho I wasnt that impressed with Cozumel last time I went. Sailed out of New Orleans - Belize and Mahogany Bay were EXCELLENT! the zip line in Mahogany Bay and the swimming with the sharks and rays in Belize were both great excursions - the guides for both were great - can't say enough about how good ...

Let's start by saying ,we came a day earlier than our scheduled cruise. We stayed at the Crown Plaza Hotel in New Orleans . This hotel is not far from the cruise parking garage, Fulton Parking. They have a shuttle to the port . Our ship is the Carnival Dream. Once we get to the port, now it's embarkation time. Standing in line ,not knowing if you are in the right line. No signs ,then finally ...

I won a seat in the $175,000 Carnival Poker Pro NLH tournament so I couldn't pass up the opportunity to play in the tournament (4th time) nor could my wife pass up another cruise. EMBARKATION: Embarkation was smooth - that's helped by the fact that we are Platinum cruisers. STOPS: Our stops were Roatan, Belize, and Cozumel. We have been to all three of these destinations many times. ...

Starting with the Good. . . . The Cabin. We booked a Cloud Nine Spa Balcony Cabin, number 12201. We liked this cabin very much. The location couldn’t be beat, just steps to the spa, and with included access to 1) the Thessalotherapy pool (a fancy indoor hot tub), 2) a nice sauna, 3) the laconium, 4) the tepidarium, and 5) the relaxation room. All very nice, and super calm and quiet. The ...

We selected this cruise because our daughter-in-law wanted to go to Mexico and it fit our respective schedules. My son, his wife and our three grandchildren drove for over 15 hours from Virginia to New Orleans - we knew better than and left two days later the morning of embarkation. We met them at their hotel and grabbed some of their suitcases and the youngest (three year old) grandson, as ...
