Let's start by saying ,we came a day earlier than our scheduled cruise. We stayed at the Crown Plaza Hotel in New Orleans . This hotel is not far from the cruise parking garage, Fulton Parking. They have a shuttle to the port . Our ship is the Carnival Dream.

Once we get to the port, now it's embarkation time. Standing in line ,not knowing if you are in the right line. No signs ,then finally someone comes and states if this is your check in time , go to another line. This is so unorganized. They need to find a better way to do this. Once inside the building things went pretty fast to enter the ship. Yay!

We were in cove cabin, 2309. Loved our room. Because we would go thru rough waters, balcony was not accessible until Monday.

The cabin was clean. Steward always came twice a day to keep it clean. Best steward ever. Thanks Ida!
