Chose this cruise because hadn't been on one for a few years an seemed like a good itinerary even tho I wasnt that impressed with Cozumel last time I went. Sailed out of New Orleans - Belize and Mahogany Bay were EXCELLENT! the zip line in Mahogany Bay and the swimming with the sharks and rays in Belize were both great excursions - the guides for both were great - can't say enough about how good they all were. unfortunately can't say the same for the food in the main dining room which was mediocre at best both times we went. The Steakhouse was much better even tho there was an extra fee as was the Bonsai Sushi restaurant.

We stayed in cabin 9472 which was an aft extended view balcony - will definitely stay in one of those again. Had heard that the aft balconies generally ended up covered in soot but never once had that problem or excessive rocking from being at the back. Loved the large curved balcony as well. Size of the room could have been a bit bigger but can't really complain much about that either.

Room steward was great, any entertainment we took in was great as well. Hate to keep using the word great over and over again but can't really describe it any other way lol Was disappointed that every time I went to the spa the technicians(or whatever they're called) would try to guilt me into buying some ridiculously expensive products afterwards by telling me what was wrong with my skin or nails or muscles and if I didn't buy their products and start taking care of the "problems" now I would be sorry later. I'm 51 now and expect to have some signs of aging so that sort of thing doesn't bother me - certainly not enough to spend nearly $1000 or more for the stuff they all suggested I get. Read more
