Carnival Galveston Cruise Reviews

Great meeting this guy, humble and transparent. He just knows what he's doing. As I said,if He is not your cruise activity director, just ask for a refund lol. He's that good.

Very Happy to back at cruising

We joined our friends on this cruise and booked over a year in advance during the pandemic not knowing if we will ever go. It was very relaxing with only approximately 50% capacity. No long lines and not crowded. Quick to get Guy's Burgers or Blue Iguana. The only hassle was getting tested in advance. Testing availability was limited and they changed it to 2-days prior. Since we have to ...

Great overall experience. Kyndall Fire was an awesome cruise director and kept things fun. Fun was Carnival typical. Staff on the ship was friendliest and most welcoming of any cruise I have been on - they went out of their way to engage and say hi, etc. Room was well kept. Servers in main dining room very efficient and attentive. Entertainment was good. Loved Allure of the Seas electric ...

Our kids took this cruise in 2019. They wanted us to go this time. We got a good deal on the price. The itinerary included Cozumel, Roatan Island and Belize. We also liked the choices of food and onboard activities. We got off of the ship at all three ports. At Roatan Island (by Honduras), Carnival did a great job of ensuring that the place was conducive to a fun day. The water was warm and ...

From the time we arrived at the port, the excitement stayed with the entire Cruise. I've been on almost every major cruise line and my new hubby had never cruised so this was a real treat to show him why I love to cruise. Embarkation compared to the past was quicker and streamlined and the Port of Galveston Staff are all 5 Star! Our balcony on deck 11 was perfect and Conrad the cabin ...

Background Information: My wife and I are avid cruisers having been on 40+ cruises. Typically we sail on RCL but have cruised with Carnival several times in the past. Living in Texas, we love to cruise from Galveston as it is easy for us to get to the ship. With all that has been going on in the world, we had not planned to take this cruise. July 29th is my birthday and we had originally ...

We chose this cruise because it fit our window of opportunity. We had never sailed with Carnival so we did not know what to expect. But we were quite impressed with our experiences. I also need to point out that according to the crew the ship was 70% capacity. Pros: Embarkation was painless! If everyone arrives at their designated time, it goes quickly and smoothly. The ship was ...

Bring back the tablecloths!!! Otherwise great cruise.

This was the first Carnival Ship to sail and the experience was great. The ONLY issue that we had was the lack of tablecloths in the main dinning rooms. The bare brown tables looked very cheap and tacky without the clean white tablecloths. The biggest issue with the missing tablecloths was that the drink glasses on the table would sweat and the water caused the glasses to slide across the table ...

Although we have cruised many times, this was our 2 cruise with Carnival. But in short, we, as a Family, had a blast! The kids were highly entertained. Cozumel was super fun! I counted 8 Ships, but later noticed 2 more. Safe to say around 20 to 30 thousand people......The Island was packed. Everyone was having a great time. My husband and I have already booked our 33rd and 34th cruise ...

This was my first cruise. I had a good trip, even with the changes caused by the corona virus. The food was very plentiful and the varieties seemed endless. There was dinning for every type, from the burger joint to the verrrry formal. Like what you saw on pictures of the movie THE TITANIC. The restaurant staff was very polite and tables were always available. The dinning times kept your ...

This was our first premier Casino cruise and our 8th Carnival cruise in general. Husband was very excited. But I knew that meant he was going to spend much of his time in the Casino so I brought my grandkids for a whole new level of fun. They were 11 years old and 13 years old. Loved all the extra perks of the Premier cruise such as: #1 Gifts in the cabin every few days. #2 Special ...
