We were on an Ultra Casino event on the Carnival Sunrise June 24-July 2
Quick to process, on board by 11:30 am
Pig and Anchor very good on deck 10-still don't have water/lemonade/ice tea there.
In cabin 7372 inside-plenty of room, love the usb ports. Close to mid/aft stairs and elevators.
Comedy shows were great-could always get in, sometimes had to stand.

Have sailed lots of mega ships including Vista and Horizon. Our 5th cruise. 1st with Carnival (3 NCL, 1 RCCL). 1st with kids (ages 11 and 13). We chose the cruise because the length was good for the kids, we hadn't been to Bermuda, leaving from NY was easier than flying to FL, and the Sunrise had recently undergone a $200M refurbishment.

I love the layout and amenities of the new ship, Horizon, the indoor and outdoor spaces were great. My problem was with the food and staff. The free food was horrible. Very few options, low quality.
