Always wanted to cross the Atlantic, and very happy we did. Many complained that Princess failed them when they dropped a couple of ports and substituted a couple of others, but we didn't mind - it's all about the ship for us and CB was looking sharp coming out of her major dry dock. We sailed her only a year ago, so the changes were obvious for us.

I just read a review from someone who sailed on this cruise who claimed Le Harve was experiencing a port strike and they missed going to Normandy because the ship didn't dock there. This is false. This was my 2nd Transaltlantic with Princess and my 6th overall with them. We really enjoyed ourselves. Check in was easy and although I am Platinium, I was not given priority boarding until I showed my number to a Rep. and she then let us aboard, not a biggy, but for sure can set a tone.

This was our first Transatlantic voyage. The renovations to the ship were very noticeable as we had sailed twice before. Enjoyed the BBQ based Planks restaurant which replaced the Horizon buffet. They had great tasting options for breakfast and lunch at no charge.
