I would really love to give this cruise 5 stars and I probably would have If guest services was not in the picture. I went with a wedding party with over 60 people. The food, entertainment and staff are all incredible. However, guest services is not. I went on this cruise as part of a group of five others. I shared an outside cabin with a balcony. The ship is smaller than normal which made things a little too cozy. The deck pool was tiny and the three "jacuzzis" were lukewarm. My Mom and I really enjoyed our cruise. The staff on the Dawn were so attentive to my mother, who uses a wheelchair and a cane. I feel like each time we attempted a transfer in and out of her transport chair, someone was there to hold the chair or flip the foot rests up and down, no one was asked, staff just know what to do and don't hesitate to jump in.

While the ship was relatively nice (I've been on better), I wasn't wowed by anything on board. It had decent amenities, but it was near impossible to find anywhere to sit. Seating was more difficult outside because on the entire port side of the ship, they allow smoking. This would be out fifth time on the Dawn and we love it. The embankment and disembarkation was smooth. Staff is very friendly and always makes you feel at home. This was my family’s first cruise together. We had a wonderful time. The service was excellent, especially Rey, our poolside waiter. He was so attentive and pleasant. We really enjoyed him.
