I've researched beforehand which cabin would be best. I chose 104 because of previous positive comments. It was the perfect size, had port hole windows and little noise. The location was good as well: close to the stairs and we didn't mind having to walk up 2-3 flights of stairs - the exercise was welcome :) We will choose the same cabin on future voyages. Cleverly designed to maximize storage and living space. King size bed, porthole, chest of drawers, good closet space with lots of hangars, a small table with 2 chairs, and decent-sized stand-up shower. Very clean and looked like a fairly new renovation. Read entire member review >>
Great Size! Bed comfortable. Lots of storage space - creative storage space. Water delivered daily. Bathroom efficient. Shower had plenty of hot water and amenities. Fresh flowers were wilted by last day. Cabin crew efficient and very nice. I felt pampered and cared for. Loved this cabin and cruise Read entire member review >>
All cabins on the ship are identical except for 2 suites.
Plenty of storage. Beautiful nautical décor. Good bathroom. Great shower.
Aft of midships you might hear engine noise. As there are no elevators , 2 deck might be better for some. The ship is small so it really does not make a difference which deck your cabin is located. Read entire member review >>
After I booked the cruise I changed my mind and went to get a Balcony room. They were sold out so I went on a waiting list. We never got the upgrade but there was no disappointment with our accommodations. It was fantastic. Read entire member review >>
Noisiest cabin we have every had in 14 cruises on 7 lines. We have been on both the Windstar Wind Surf and Wind Spirit and never experience the LOUD whining whenever the ship was underway. It would stop as soon as we docked so it was a generator or turbine. Very difficult to get more than 4 hrs sleep even with earplugs and the bottle of wine they comp'ed us. Many fellow passengers in the same area of the ship expeienced same thing (icl bottle of wine). But wine does not equal sleep. Would not cruise on this ship again until they get it fixed, Read entire member review >>
Next time I would try cabin more in the middle of the ship. All cabins are the same(apart from the suites) only they are differently located at the two decks.New furniture - everything perfect. Read entire member review >>
Not traditionally cool, not chic, not luxurious, a bit blah and underwhelming. As expected on this size ship the cabin was small with carefully structured useful spaces. The bed wAs very comfortable with good pillow selection and nice enough sheets. The bathroom was immaculate with amazing shower pressure and hot water in what we named the space capsule. The cabin was super clean and spotless just a little dreary to spend time in. The steward was helpful and efficient - we bough the laundry package which was great value considering the length of our entire trip. He kept my fresh water bottles coming and worked well around our erratic scheduleThe turndown service was incredibly bad with 3 horrid little chocolates - especially disappointing considering all the delectable port side delicacies. Cabin 140 was the last one at the front of the ship. It was VERY noisy as you hear the bilge pump loudly running constantly and the door to the crew stairs is just outside so that is slamming constantly. Better choice is to stay in the middle of the ship. The cabin is also showing wear and tear. The toilet flushing isn't great (even paper doesn't go right down) and there is rust around the door frame. Read entire member review >>
All of the cabins were about the same except for one "owner's suite". I looked in when it was being cleaned. It had a separate living room area. I'm not sure it would have been worth the money.
The difference between an A and a B cabin was that B was on the lower floor. You have to climb an extra flight of stairs to get to the main levels. I didn't find that was an issue. Read entire member review >>
