This was my first cruise. I had a seasoned cruiser leading the way. She made all the reservations for our group of 7 girls. The food was good. Not blow your socks off amazing, but good. We ate dinner in the dining room each night and the Windjammer buffet every day for lunch. The buffet is huge, too many choices. So it's great for picky eaters. I thought the buffet food was good. My husband and I are seasoned cruisers. We were taking our daughter and 12 year old granddaughter on their first cruise for this one and since we live in the Houston area, it was perfect going out of Galveston.
