This cruise was initially headed to Alaska and Japan (cancelled Russia), however the itinerary changed and we went to Alaska and then to Hawaii. We had 12 days total at sea, and the staff made it fun. Always something to do. Loads of goodies to eat provided by the most top notch staff we've had. An outstanding cruise which combines a repositioning with multi country/culture adventure. Seeing Alaska, Russia and Japan all while gaining extra sleep every other day made this relaxing. This was our third cruise with Viking ocean. We chose this trip for the itinerary. We had never been to Asia and liked the ports in both Asia and Alaska.
