We made our own way to Venice arriving in Treviso, a 30 min bus ride from the plaza de Roma, the main transportation hub for venice (Bus and Train). Suggestion would be to come in one night before the cruise so as to not be so tired. Embarkation went fairly smoothly as we arrived past the influx of passengers. After spending 5 weeks with relatives in Sicily we certainly needed the peace and quiet of the cruise. Boarding in Venice the queue was quite long at the dock.
