A Holiday away from the “holidays”
"We wanted to escape the frenzied holidays at home and found on this cruise a delightful Christmas with caroling and Santa arriving by Zodiac to dancing on the pool deck for a fun New Year’s Eve with everyone from the ship in attendance. The ship was spotless, the common rooms inviting, and the off shore visits/tours were interesting and well done...."Read More

Wonderful destinations on this cruise between Fiji and Papeete. The crew and the fellow passengers was delightful and easy to talk to. The food was very good but could perhaps be a bit more adventurous - even people in the 60+ segment nowadays appreciate a bit more spicy food, the food was more safe and blend. However the one thing that really was not up to standard on this cruise was the ...

We had sailed on Seabourn 10 years ago to the Mediterranean and this time from Auckland to Sydney with stops on the east coast of New Zealand and the south of Australia. We wanted to escape the frenzied holidays at home and found on this cruise a delightful Christmas with caroling and Santa arriving by Zodiac to dancing on the pool deck for a fun New Year’s Eve with everyone from the ship in ...

We had sailed with Seabourn 3 times before and the itinerary looked promising. It was the first Grand Voyage offered after covid and we had been looking forward to this moment. Unfortunately, we are sorry to say, this latest cruise was a disappointment; this was not the Seabourn we had known. We felt we had found ourselves on a low-budget cruise throughout the voyage. The food on our cruise, it ...

This is your cruise line if you smoke! The CEO is a smoker, so smokers get special smoking places, you can smoke on your balcony, which means the neighbors get to smoke too! The balcony doors open outward & upwind so you will suck in all your neighbors smoke when you open the door, and sitting on your balcony if you are so unfortunate to have a neighbor who smokes is not possible. Smokers also ...

Seabourn service quality going downhill

Noisy room - everything rattled - lot of vibration. We were on 3 consecutive segments totalling 60 days and got no upgrade - in fact we got worst cabin in our category. Several other passengers on only 1 segment got 2 or even 3 category upgrades. Most staff never recognized us by name after 60 days! No caviar in the surf or marina days during a 60 day voyage. 4 or 5 port stops only 4-6 hours - ...

My husband and I flew from Australia to LA to join the Seabourn Odyssey for our 20 day cruise back through Nuku Hiva, Atuona, Papeete, Bora Bora, Rarotonga, Russell in the Bay of Islands and finally ending in Auckland. This was our first ever cruise with the Yachts of Seabourn, the best decision we could of ever made. Our embarkation was so quick and easy with no major wait then straight onto ...

Good bye, Seabourn!

After almost 300 days on Seabourn ships: Seabourn was once an elegant, almost perfect cruise line which I truly loved. Since it is part of Carnival, it's over. Seabourn is now Middle-class. "Luxury" remained only the prices. First of all: English is not my mother tounge. So please excuse my mistakes. And then: Maybe a couple of serious suggestions. * Don't book Seabourn. There are better ...
