My husband and I sailed on the Adventure from 9/28/2014 until 10-12-2014. I love the longer cruises because you can really relax. The weather was perfect for the whole trip. The cruise director, Bobbi was fun, professional and visible. Between announcements from the captain and the cruise director we were continually updated on happenings around the ship and about the ports.

Many things to write for this cruise.
SHIP: Adventure of the Seas - Voyager class, but getting old now. It is due for refurb in April 2014.
Staff and help were excellent for us during this cruise. Captain walked around the ship a lot, talking to passengers.

I was a bit dubious about sailing on such a big ship from Southampton, and had been reading the reviews for months. I was with a group of about 50. Our coach dropped us outside the treminal, and I didn't see our luggage again until it was delivered to our stateroom, just before the lifeboat drill. I'm expecting we might see a few bad reviews of this cruise. The weather in the Bay of Biscay was just about at its worst. Force 10 winds gusting up to Force 12 meant Indy was delayed crossing Biscay and the stop in Madeira was cancelled, disappointing many passengers, some of whom might vent their spleens here?
