My husband and I sailed on the Adventure from 9/28/2014 until 10-12-2014. I love the longer cruises because you can really relax. The weather was perfect for the whole trip. The cruise director, Bobbi was fun, professional and visible. Between announcements from the captain and the cruise director we were continually updated on happenings around the ship and about the ports. Our room steward, ...

I will start with the positives, Absolutely no problem with the staff who were as always, in our experience of RCCI, first class and very friendly. The entertainment we found to be very good apart from one act, a female singer doing divas, who we thought was not very good. The ice shows were spectacular, we got an extra showing as we are platinum members of crown and anchor, although at least one ...

Many things to write for this cruise. SHIP: Adventure of the Seas - Voyager class, but getting old now. It is due for refurb in April 2014. Staff and help were excellent for us during this cruise. Captain walked around the ship a lot, talking to passengers. STATEROOM: We upgraded from a balcony to a Junior Suite at the last minute, which was nice, but it was only slightly larger. Definitely had ...

This review is my umpteenth cruise on Royal Caribbean and for all its faults I keep coming back. The review covers a 14 day cruise down to the Canary Islands round trip from Southampton. Embarkation was very simple from City Terminal and arriving after I.00pm I was able to board within about ten minutes. New for this year is that you are allowed to take on board two bottles of wine per ...

This was our third cruise, all with Royal Caribbean. We previously cruised on the Serenade of the Seas, Radiance class, and the Splendor of the Seas, Vision class. We were very much looking forward to sailing on a Freedom class and had very high expectations. If you are only reading this to see if there were any problems or complaints then you can go on to the next review. We found all of our ...

Myself and partner both 22, have returned from Independence of the Seas on a 14 night voyage of the Canary Isles. We have cruised many times before on RCCL (Diamond Member), as well as other lines including P&O and Princess. We booked two week prior to departure due to the fact we gained an excellent deal of £749pp for an inside guarenteed stateroom. Our embarkation was swift and efficient ...

Let's get all the basics out of the way. The ship is stunning in a "blingy" sort of way. The staff were excellent and the food, wherever we ate, was again excellent both in choice and quality. The interior stateroom was immaculate, very comfortable and served us well. Having said that, we couldn't understand why there were no sachets of coffee on the hospitality tray - thank heavens for the ...

This was our second cruise (the first was on 2010). We started to look for a cruise when we were told of our kids November vacation's schedule. Their week off coincided with their birthday and with the cruising low season in Europe. The fact that RCI had a cruise leaving from Malaga on a interesting itinerary to Canary Islands at a really good price, convinced us to go. The ship was the Adventure ...

I was a bit dubious about sailing on such a big ship from Southampton, and had been reading the reviews for months. I was with a group of about 50. Our coach dropped us outside the treminal, and I didn't see our luggage again until it was delivered to our stateroom, just before the lifeboat drill. No problem checking in with no luggage to manhandle. Our promenade room had a double bed made up. (I ...

I'm expecting we might see a few bad reviews of this cruise. The weather in the Bay of Biscay was just about at its worst. Force 10 winds gusting up to Force 12 meant Indy was delayed crossing Biscay and the stop in Madeira was cancelled, disappointing many passengers, some of whom might vent their spleens here? It was the luck of the draw that we sailed into a storm on Biscay whilst the Grand ...
