The overall experience was amazing, the sway of the vessel throws you off a bit being though this was my first cruise
The overall reception was friendly and kind, it seemed authentic.
The dining room in the wind jammer is chaotic but when it's a buffet what do you expect.

my comments are based on having taken over 30 cruises on multiple cruise lines over the last 40 years.
windows terribly dirty throughout the ship and in our stateroom which affected your enjoyment. we paid extra for large cabin window and could not see out clearly.
need to clean the windows or park the boat.

We chose this cruise as our Honeymoon and we both worked OT and saved for it. Now looking back we were told the wrong thing form the start.

We choose this cruise for its Monday through Friday dates that worked with our schedule. I did read the review prior to making plans, so I do agree with most of the previous review in regards to food, and the ship is older. Hate to say it, but the crew members agree, RCI has cut back on things so it can keep building new ships. This was our #1 cruise line, but after this last cruise, NCL has topped their service standards now.
Pros: Large ship with lots to do.
Cons: Beds hard as the floor and they no longer provide mattress pads upon request.

Overall Cruising on this Behemoth of a ship was great. I do think that Royal needs to improve are Event Calendar Planner that contains all of the online cruise reservations for shows, excursions needs to match the actual times of the cruise. we choose the Allure of the Seas for the Oasisclass suites, and starclass suites. We booked an aquatheatre suite with royal genie. Our royal genie Susan Flannery, arranged everything for us, so we did not have to think about anything and we did not have to wait anywhere, all the restaurants were booked, shows where booked , best seats in the house, excellent!

This is an outstanding and really gorgeous ship....It is extremely glamorous with great artistry throughout. They offer a very courteous, well trained and friendly staff.
