The opportunity to travel up the Amazon, Central America and Caribbean. The whole cruise was excellent in every way. The many ports of call, experiencing so many places, the excursions well organised. The crew were excellent, a happy ship and you felt it. Nothing was too much trouble. The waiters couldn’t oblige you more. Entertainment on the whole good including the Headliners shows. The ...
This was my first experience of cruising and ok some people might say I have nothing to compare it to but I disagree...I have traveled a lot so whether it be on a ship or air I still have good experience in the holiday sector.
This ship is ran to perfection! the cabin, ok a little small but what the hell you only sleep in it ...the dining selection is second to none!! whether you do posh or ...
Myself and most others on the holiday became increasingly annoyed by the moaners who were determined to make their negative comments known at every opportunity.
Most of us were having a great time and could not understand what the others were moaning about, it seemed like they were living in a parallel universe or that they lived a life of luxury back home.
All the staff we had contact with ...
Charter flight from Manchester to Barbados was ok - not having to collect luggage in Barbados was a bonus. Embarkation was very swift and friendly.Cabin was clean and comfortable with plenty of storage space for clothes and luggage. Bathroom was fairly small but functional with nice toiletries and always plenty of clean towels. The toilet made a horrendous noise when flushed and we were afraid of ...
Just returned from an excellent cruise round the West Caribbean. When I read some of the reviews I can't believe I've been on the same ship. The food to was great, parti ularly in the waiter serviced restaurant. We used the self service restaurants for breakfast and lunch because we love sitting outside to eat. In all fairness in the self service restaurants the food was basically the same every ...
We booked this cruise last time we were on board in April last year to maximise our on board credit. This was a fly cruise and the flight with Thomas Cook airlines was the worst part of our holiday, we will seriously consider scheduled flights if we do the trip again.
There were obvious queues to check in in a less than luxurious shed but you were offered water while you waited. Once check in was ...
my husband and i took our first cruise 2 years ago on an american cruise liner and my husband hated it.. He reluctantly agreed to make the "sacrifice to take me on a P&O cruise to the Carribean for my 60th birthday on the uinderstanding that if he disliked it again the word cruise would not pass my lips again - Well given he would have been prepared to stay on the ship for another 2 weeks at the ...
We were both really looking forward to this holiday and the chance to relax and escape to some winter sun. I am pleased to say that both the ship and the destinations did not disappoint and this was a fantastic holiday.
I have provided some detail of what we did on each of the ports and would urge anyone to get off an explore on every island - do your own thing.
The highlights for us were the ...
This was our first cruise and had been booked 18 months in advance, so we had had plenty of opportunities to research our chosen ship and read lots of reviews, some of which were great and some not so good.
So our cruise has finally come and gone and what did we think of the P&O Ventura?.....Wonderful, beautiful, amazing.
We both found it very difficult to fault this lovely ship in any way, ...
Overview-
Azura is a big ship, so it should NOT come as a surprise to find that it actually IS a big ship! With 3,000 people on board you will experience a level of crowding this should not be a surprise either. Having said this it was near impossible to find a space on deck on sea days unless you wanted to go to the very top decks, we didn't bother. Theatre too small even with three shows, ...
