Great experience

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Arvia

First time cruisers and we had the best time. The ship is fabulous and our cabin was brilliant. It was a GC balcony on deck 9. The booking system for restaurants worked fine and the food was magnificent. The sunbed issue is irritating but we always found a chair. There are some serious moaners about this ship but we are very well travelled and regret not cruising before, it wasn’t cheap ...

We have been cruising now for many years and in that time have encountered many events at sea. When choosing a cruise in November from Southampton it is likely we will experience some inclement weather ( it is Autumn/Winter after all ). Storm Ciaran was one such event that kept us in port ( and safe ) for 2 extra days thus impacting the remainder of the trip and missing 3 ports. However, as a ...

Cruising home

Cruising back to Barbados after a long stay in the UK is a wonderful way to relax after a hectic visit. Arvia is a beautiful ship. The design and finishes are superb - modern and stylish but not too glitzy in the way that some cruise ships become an assault on the senses. The quality of the food, entertainment and service on board was really good and the value for money was incredible. The ...

Exceeded expectations

Review for a Europe - Western Mediterranean Cruise on Arvia

After cruising on Azura in January (excellent), I was excited to be on the PandO latest and she didn't disappoint. I didn't notice the more than 5,000 other passengers (we were fully loaded) but I'm glad I learnt from my January experience to pre-book EVERYTHING we wanted to do as soon as bookings opened. I am a planner by nature so this was great for me! We were worried about our cabin as we ...

Beautiful Modern Ship

This was our 19th cruise having previously sailed with several lines including Celebrity, NCL and Disney. We have also sailed on P&O Ventura and Aurora, this time we were looking for a “replacement” holiday as we could no longer go to Disneyworld due to a back injury. The timings for a cruise on Arvia were perfect and P&O cruises are great value so we decided to take the plunge. Boarding We ...

N399 Ventura - Spain, France and Portugal. Wow, I would like to start this review by saying wow, what an amazing experience for our first cruise! Positives - The most loveliest staff and crew you will ever meet. - Although an older cruise ship, very clean, tidy and lots of facilities. - Really easy embarkation and disembarkation process at all ports. - Lots of choice when it ...

Amazing first cruise holiday

We absolutely loved our first cruise holiday on Arvia! Ship is beautiful, crew were fantastic and although the ship was full, we never waited to be served, if anything the servers were fighting over to serve you! Really enjoyed the cabin, we had a standard balcony room, but the balcony was huge which we utilised every day and the rest of the cabin was lovely. Had no issues with storage (packing ...

Amazing Ship & Crew

We have just returned from an amazing western Mediterranean cruise on the new Arvia. This is our 7th cruise and 5th with P&O. Arvia has to be one of the best cruise ships we have experienced with P&O cruises. Arvia is a beautiful luxury ship, with so many open spaces, so it doesn't feel like there are nearly 6000 passengers onboard. We felt the smaller ships in the fleet felt ...

AMAZING TIME ON VENTURA

Review for a Europe - British Isles & Western Cruise on Ventura

We chose this cruise as a late deal booking 3 weeks beforehand. 5 day break to Le Havre & Rotterdam We usually book a suite but due to late booking sold out so we opted for a superior deluxe balcony cabin. This is aft. Very spacious. We didn’t feel too much motion which I was surprised about. The only issue for some may be the Havana club is right above the room and could hear the music going ...

Travelled 9th to 19th September 2023 (couple aged mid 50s) Having read some of the very poor reviews a few months before our trip, my partner and I were a little anxious that it would not meet our expectations - especially having cruised with other companies before. This was our first P&O experience so they had a lot to live up to. What can I say except we have just returned home after ...
