"Instead of a view of the ship's wake Spice H2O has a giant TV screen (washed out in the daytime) blocking the view.A third were completely broken, and another third had sticking or non-functioning buttons (you could still touch the screen, but this increases the chance of mistakes)...."Read More

1-10 of 315 Bermuda Norwegian Breakaway Bermuda Cruise Reviews
I just took my first NCL cruise, April 20 to May 6 Breakaway transatlantic and was a little disappointed when comparing it to Princess or Celebrity. I took a transatlantic on each of them last year, and they were overall just much better. BUT, before I get into things I didn't like, I'll describe what I did like.
1. I paid a low price with no single supplement. It was the same on Princess and ...
Embarkation: Staff in NYC were friendly and efficient. We were in our room on the ship at 11AM (although the ship had been empty for 3 days).
Getting off: No information available on transport to city, to train station or to airport--unless booked through Norwegian. There is a “SitBus” that runs from terminal to Rome, but we couldn’t find out where to find it. There is a Port to train ...
Wife and I celebrating our 30th anniversary stayed in a 2 bedroom suite in the Haven Courtyard. Overall, it was a wonderful experience. This review will be very Haven centric.
1. Boarding in New York was straightforward, but somewhat delayed. After doing the required testing with EuroFins, we arrived at the Haven check-in room around 10:40 only to wait about 90 minutes before being permitted ...
My wife and I just did the 7 night NCL cruise on the Breakaway from NYC - our first post COVID cruise. I wanted to share what to expect in a Bermuda cruise now since it was hard for me to find current info. Overall, we had a great cruise vacation thanks to the 40% capacity (2000 instead of 5000) and our good fortune with weather (we departed on 10/31 - the prior cruise ended up stuck in rough ...
First let me say the NCL is doing a great job making sure the passengers feel safe and comfortable on the ship without the scent of antiseptic or over powering disinfectants. the staff is masked at all times but you do not feel uncomfortable.
The Ship was 1/3 to capacity and this made getting around easy.
The restaurants were great, and the ship staff could not make you feel more ...
We took our last cruise on NCL Escape in August 2019 and absolutely LOVED it. We had planned on sailing on the Encore last year and then...well of course that didn't happen. As soon as we learned that NCL was resuming NYC to Bermuda cruises, we booked a Haven Spa Suite because we wanted to try the Haven and we loved the Thermal Suite on the Escape. Thermal Suite access comes with a Haven Spa ...
Uber dropped us off at the ship at 10:15. We walked a short distance to the right to another terminal, to have our Covid testing. We showed our passport, Eurofin email and Bermuda TA paperwork ( strongly suggest to have a hard paper copy). Proceeded to desk to “check in ” with Eurofins. Next step was the testing, no waiting. The technician takes 2 samples then you wait for results. Received ...
This cruise was the perfect relief from a year and a half of social isolation. I wanted a safe way to travel and Norweigian provided that peace of mind. All passengers were required to take three different covid tests with a negative result plus provide proof of vaccination. The staff was masked at all times. The precautions at the buffet were excellent. That "washy washy happy happy" line stays ...
I choice this cruise for the jazz promotion. The ship is beautiful and there were plenty of restaurants. Getting on and off ship was smooth. I did not like this ship for jazz shows. Venues are too small for that kind of activity with so many people. The worst part was the cabin. We had a balcony and a pull out bed for 3rd person. Not worth the money for a balcony. Rooms look like they are chopped ...
We were with a special interest cruise. I would not choose to cruise in hurricane season, but that is when the group was going so we did. We knew if would be an adventure. We left on September 17th, out of NYC. Embarkation was a breeze. We ate a good breakfast at our hotel so we could just relax in the shade with some cocktails, waiting for our room to be ready. Our room was ready by 1:30, which ...
