We travelled on Deck 5 in an outer, windowed cabin, on Fred Olsen's Balmoral to the North German ports of Bremen, Hamburg and Kiel dep Newcastle 19 November. The worst cruise of our lives. Never again. The so called "Superior Balcony Cabin" was filthy. Furniture drawers had not been cleaned out for months with residual filth including a drawer which refused to close because of soiled underwear left behind.
