My wife and I took a 5 night cruise out of Bayonne, NJ bound for Canada. I had always wanted to see the Bay of Fundy, with its 40 foot tidal drop in a matter of hours. Our stops were in St. John, NB, and Halifax, NS. The embarkation was smooth as silk. On a clear, cool night, pulling out of the berth and heading out to sea while passing under the Verrazano Bridge was magic. The ship was big, and ...

This was our first cruise, so I don't have anything to compare to, but this ship is really fabulous. The artwork is astounding. It's integrated into the entire ship. Even the staterooms have limited edition signed and numbered prints! We enjoyed walking around and exploring all the various public areas. As some have stated, you take your chances with the Canadian weather, but I think we lucked ...

Port Liberty in New Jersey is a sprawling former military port that has plenty of parking. Arrival, which is spread out over many hours, is convenient, but the traffic jam at departure, for both passenger vehicles and limos, can be frustrating. Something should be done to expand the area used as a loading zone. We arrived about three hours before departure, and check-in was a breeze. Sandwiches ...

I am going to start off by saying this was the most pleasant cruise that I have had as far as how the cruise began and ended. Embarkation Day: This was amazing. I have read reviews and been told that this new port was a nightmare. I found this to be totally the opposite. We arrived at the pier at 4:00pm and were allowed to board right away. We went to the Suite and Crown and Anchor check in desk ...

Just got back from the 5 day VOS cruise out of NJ. Embarkation onto the ship took less than 10 minutes. We thought that was pretty amazing considering the amount of passengers sailing. We left Providence at 1:30 and got to the ship at 6:00 and were in our cabin by 6:15. We had an outside cabin on deck 3 that was very spacious. The only complaint we have is that the beds were extremely ...

Don't let the Embarkation and Destination confuse you. We sailed out of Bayonne, NJ and went to St. Johns & Halifax. The new RCCL terminal was very nice, however, the traffic pattern is a slight problem. First you go around one of the Old Warehouses, following the line of cars. Get to the Cruise terminal and drop off your luggage and passengers, I sailed with my wife and granddaughter. The you go ...

The first trip to the Maritimes, but it seemed to be a first for so many things for the staff. Bayonne NJ was total confusion. Many of the clerks didn't know how to process the cruisers. The baggage handler area was like a free for all. The handlers yelled, pushed and fought amongst themselves. Bayonne was probably the worst embarkation we've ever experienced. For anybody flying into JFK like we ...
