A Rough Start, But MSC Came Through. Ocean Cay Is Great!
"We were starting to feel the way we felt on our first MSC cruise - beautiful ship, beautiful people, unlimited drinks, and great food. However, we were supposed to be some of the first people to go to MSC Ocean Cay on that November cruise on MSC Seaside, but the island was deemed not ready...."Read More

great time on Divina

Just got off the MSC Divina and with only 500 passengers I am sure this contributed to the individual service provided by the crew. I did the survey but wasn’t sure how to send kudos to the amazing crew of the Divina. So, here goes: the entire Crew Services but especially Alex from Brazil and Justine from So. Africa. The Crew Services acted out the answers to the movie trivia questions and ...

Gordon Ramsey would call out the cooks, explain how bad the plate is and have them redo it.

i did the supper buffet first 2 nites.. Over cooked, ( I know they cannot serve it raw). Had a rice dish with chicken ..bearable,,, until I started to get chicken bone chips in my mouth - they did not section the pieces they used a cleaver into multiple pieces. Another nite .. pork fillets (probably loin) in gravy . . AGAIN these were sawed into flat pieces NOT between the bones at ca. ...

This was my 31st cruise and the most beautiful ship I've ever sailed on. Sophia Loren I tip my hat and heart to you. This felt more like a regal hotel than the cookie cutter amusement park ships currently out there. Embarkation was a quick breeze with only 359 fellow travelers. The crew and staff could not have been more helpful, kind and considerate. Anyone who decides to take a cruise during ...

Embarkation was a breeze. The muster drill was very quick and organized. The ship is the most beautiful we have been on in almost 100 sailings BUT---- ENTERTAINMENT---We had heard not to expect much but what that had is the theater was fine but the music before dinner was started at 6pm so nothing before early dining and it ended before late dining. We usually have a drink before dinner and ...

Horrible from the get-go. First time on MSC, may very well be my last. Might give them another shot, but we will see. The MSC Divina is a gorgeous ship, but it definitely has some layout problems where you have to go up a floor walk a little bit and then back down to access one of the dining rooms. So strange and others indicated the same. Customer service is awful! Calling in on a ...

For the price this was an amazing deal. The boat is absolutely beautiful. The staff were phenomenal. The drink package that was offered onboard as you got on the ship was great and offered three tiers to chose from. The top tier drink package included a mini bar in the room which was really nice. No limitations on drinks at all! The food was not what we are accustomed too but it was ok. The ...

I am a very experienced cruiser and live very close to Port Canaveral. I hope you find this review of MSC Divina helpful. I didn’t choose this cruise or cruise line, but I’m really glad I joined a group of girlfriends for the short, three-days on Divina. MSC is new to Port Canaveral, so this was my first sailing on this line. Please do not be alarmed by the poor reviews. The three-night ...

This is our 8th cruise. First time on MSC and definitely not the last. We've already booked our next one for March. Same itinerary at that. I work at a major healthcare facility in Florida so I used the Healthcare Heroes discount. Just emailed a Pic of my employee badge and they responded rather quickly. We've been on some 7 day cruises; Eastern Caribbean, Western Caribbean, Alaska, New ...

Extraordinary dining room service made this first experience with MSC stand out

Fairly experienced cruisers we be, we are noobs with MSC. We had just been musing how, living in central FL and not taking advantage of cruise opportunities more, when this very attractive deal came along. So, off we went as our first foray back to the cruise world after Covid hit; the fact that it's Port Canaveral rather than the South Florida ports made it even more accessible. As a movie ...

Terrible Customer Service. Bad for Small Children.

This was the worst vacation I have ever had. The real problem is that this was not due to any external or unpreventable factor. It was the direct result of terrible and negligent service encompassing nearly all contact points with MSC employees. The primary failure of this trip occurred when I was assured twice during two separate phone conversations with MSC customer service employees that my ...
