Fun and exciting but unclean bed sheets/comforter and filthy balcony table

The cruise was AWESOME! The cruise staff, live shows, cocktails, food and overall on board service…4 thumbs up!!!! The only downside to the entire vacation, #1 The unclean bed sheets, #2 The dirty spots on the white bed comforter, #3 The dirty balcony table, YUCK! I always travel with an extra top sheet and a thin quilt just in case. Well this was one of those just in case situation. #4 The ...

A very mixed bag: disabled passengers beware

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Seascape

We chose this cruise because of the promised benefits of MSC Yacht Club, specifically seamless embarkation and disembarkation. Some were delivered, some not. For me, the best thing about the ship was the crew. Without exception, they were friendly, polite and helpful. This even appeared to be true outside the Yacht Club, where they were dealing with a situation that was challenging at best. ...

2nd time around

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Scarlet Lady

This is the 2nd time we sailed on this ship because the 1st one just blew our mind! So we thought, let's do it again! The main reason is the food, next reason is Bimini Beach resort. The food is still exquisite, the atmosphere, not so much. The seating is so close together that you might as well be sharing the table with other people. Any chance of intimate conversation is squashed. We go on a ...

NCL really has lost its way

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Norwegian Escape

NCL platinum customer who used to love this cruise line. When I first cruised back last year, my experience was extremely poor, and I chalked it up to Covid. I understand there’s a lot to do to get back to business but some thing about this cruise line is wrong now. The ships are too understaffed to give you a good experience. Nothing but lines, cold food and lack of service. Can’t even ...

We chose first & foremost Adult cruise peaked our interest! Went down hill from there! Not a fan of doing everything on your cell with the VV app!! Didn’t like having to stand outside in the blazing heat of Miami in July to board the ship . But will say yes once my turn went smoothly to get on ship. But then back down the rabbit hole didn’t like 45 days prior to cruise we booked ONLY our dinner ...

Interesting voyage

My husband and I chose this cruise because a family member planned a family trip. We were a little nervous about the cruise because we didn’t know what to expect. This was a first for us. Our accommodations were very expensive I think for a cabin with a balcony. We had plenty of food, but personally I think the ship lacked a variety of activities for all ages. We deemed this the college party and ...

The Hype is not the reality

I live in Miami and have been on over 40 cruises. Virgin Voyages launched right when the Pandemic hit. The cruise ships were on. the Port and they looked beautiful and new. I have been curious about what made these gray ships different from the other ships, needless to say, my friend and I were able to book the 2 days before sailing. The Scarlett Lady has a wonderful, happy, hardworking staff. The ...

Just an ok cruiseline

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Scarlet Lady

I've been on 6 other cruise lines and this one was just ok. Nothing great.... Will not cruise this line again. They wanted to be very different from all the other cruise lines and they accomplished it but it doesn't work. The shows are weird and have no live bands for the shows. You have to book EVERYTHING through your phone app. And if you don't do it immediately the spots will be booked out: ...

The customer if not available after you’ve completed the cruise.

The customer service is awful. They were very available before the cruise but very unavailable after the cruise. The bout did not have handicap public bathrooms except in the health club area; If you are handicap, do not use there bus service to the airport. They made us got off the bus @ terminal 33 & our terminal was 11. I am elderly and have a walker; my friend is also disabled. We ended up ...

Uneven cruise

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on Scarlet Lady

Friends were going and we all got discounts for booking together. With the exception of a few shining stars, service was just not good. App said room service order would take 40-60 minutes; it took 66 and two items were missing. Far too few bartenders for busy times. Embarkation moved well and disembark was best of any cruise! Although they say they have a policy about lounge chair hogging, ...
