Traffic is horrendous in this town. Don't go to Tagatay ridge, it is too far out of town and takes to long. Stay in town when you are there only for the day and visit Intramuros. Read Less

Manila Bay with the surrounding mountains is beautiful. Manila we found disappointing; too much poverty. The old city of Intramuros we found in a poor condition. Not worth the visit. Read Less

We did the downtown tour. Would not necessarily recommend. Manila is a very poor, and unclean city I am afraid. Go to the Manila Hotel for free wifi and a decent coffee though - within walking distance of the port entrance. Read Less

We took the Celebrity Hidden Valley tour. We enjoyed the walk to the hidden waterfall and the soaking in the four thermal pools. Read Less

Hidden valley trip.Extremely poor value for money at £255 for two ! Over 4 hrs in a not so comfy bus listening to the tour guide loudly telling the whole of the history of the Philipines going and coming back ! Hidden valley is only a tired cleared area in the jungle with a few manmade pools concreted sides ...called the love pool etc !.A short rickety walk stopping all the time for other tourists to pass, to a waterfall which you could not go to bug could view in the distance ! A bland cup cake .light lunch and one soft drink and a few hours in a manmade jungle sitting is NOT what I would call an exciting trip to a 'hidden valley ' !! Read Less

Old Manila tour. Excellent. Usually arranged our own land adventures but this was great. 1st time there. Also went to two other Islands which were breathtakingly beautiful and reflective of the people. Very nice. Had no expectations but all of the Philippine exposure was wonderful. Read Less
