Here is an honest review of the cruise.

You get what you pay for and that is exactly what Norweign Sky gives you...value..and not a whole lot else.

Day 1 - Arrived in Miami - easy transfer from airport to port..don't use the Norweign recommended transfer, it is very expensive. Google transfers to find the best price. Embarked easily and staff was very friendly. The rooms wasn't ready yet, but we arrived on board at noon. Lunch was ready and was hamburgers/hotdogs, etc...nothing fancy, but food was hot and ready. The ship is a little outdated compared to all of the fancy ships now available (but it is a very affordable cruise, not intended for long trips). Very few staff members speak any English and hardly any understand what you are saying if you speak English, but that is typically of cruise ships. Once we got to our room, our luggage was waiting on us which was a surprise because other ships have taken slightly longer. Upon inspecting the room, it was dirty :(..the cabinets had soda stains running down the front, there was hair in the bed, and the shower was cracked. Also, bring your own shampoo/soap, etc, they do not provide anything for you except some dispensers in the shower (yuck). The hallways smelled musty probably because water kept leaking from somewhere?? There was always a fan in the hall drying the carpet, it became a joke to our group, but it did smell. I explored the ship and was impressed with the fitness classes and equipment. The spa was nice, but they got me to sign up with the promise of a special and then didn't give it to me when I got my treatment the next day :(. We ate at Il Adagio (Italian rest. $10). It was pretty good, but a little disappointing because the staff was not Italian..the bread is awesome and seafood was very good. Didn't really take in any shows, everything started late and after traveling all day, I hung out on the balcony and enjoyed the view (definitely recommend getting a balcony).
