This was a great trip for us. There were a few hiccups with dining. I wouldn't recommend Skyline or the Cadillac Diner, poor service each time we ate at those. Liberty had a mix, first time was wonderful, second was a little slower. Jefferson's Bistro and Teppenyaki were both great! There were a couple mornings there wasn't hot water, not sure why.

We had a suite, which allowed us to eat at Lazy J's for breakfast and lunch and also offered concierge and butler. Having the calm of Lazy J's as an option for breakfast and lunch was great. The only benefit of the concierge was priority tender. He said hello in the mornings at breakfast, but didn't really spend a lot of time talking to us. Maybe the kids scared him. We didn't even meet our butler until the third day and only saw or heard from him when he delivered afternoon snacks. We were booked in a family suite and only two of the days offered kids friendly snacks. It was nice to say we had a concierge and butler but we wouldn't have really missed them with the exception of the tendered port.

I can't say enough good things about the kids programs. My kids had a great time. Jitterbug and Marbles rock! They have great themed activities set up each night and my 2.5 and 5 year olds had a great time. They would talk about their adventures into the next day. The kids would come back at night exhausted and ready for bed. Free care was offered from 9am to noon and 6pm - 10:00pm each day except the first. Not available until 8pm the first night and extended hours are offered on Friday afternoon.

Cabin Review

2-Bedroom Family Suite with Large Balcony

Cabin SI

Great room at the back of the boat. Three separate rooms, two bedrooms and one living space. Storage room available due to the alcove by the connecting stateroom door. Did not have a lot of drawers in the cabinets but did have shelves, also had two closets with lot of hangers. Bathroom small, but doable. Balcony is HUGE! Great for viewing lava and Na Pali coast.
