Traveled with children

This was a family cruise for us. My husband and I with 2 teenagers (both were in the Club O2 - 15-17yrs). This was very different than the first cruise we went on that we went with 3 other families, and the kids stayed together. This one, since the kids were older...they were able to meet new friends and enjoyed it so much more! They loved it, and were actually teary eyed when we had to leave, and they had to say goodbye to their new friends.Any of the complaints of being bored, or not having fun...not true! You definitely have to plan your day to be able to fit everything in, but boring would not be the word! There were days that I just wanted to relax, which we did..then other days when we did everything that was planned. There is something for everyone! Food was great, service was fantastic, and my only complaint...which I hear a lot..is the people saving lounge chairs! I think Carnival needs to get involved in this one, because at any given time..3/4 of the chairs are not being used because they are saved for hours!! I know that I had to have a little argument with a fellow passenger when she had a chair saved from 6:30 am, and at 12:30 it was still not being used. If everyone used the chairs ONLY when they needed them...there would be the need to SAVE them for hours.

Cabin Review

Issue with 2 more doors as you walk in. Closet door, cabin door, and bathroom door were constantly getting blocked. Eg - can't exit the bathroom if someone has the closet open. Can't enter the cabin if the closet or bathroom door was open. Was very annoying with 4 people in a cabin. Not enough counter space. Tray to hold glasses took up all the room.
