Driving to the port was a breeze from an hour & a half away from the parents house. Loved looking at the ships sitting there in the port in all their glory. The husbands dropped us off with the luggage, & went to park. $100 for the week. CASH ONLY! Two years ago it was $80. Things go up but parking space?? We waited in line & when our folks got a boarding pass for group #5 & we were next & got #6, I politely asked the attendant person if we could be with the folks since they are 74 & 82. She was VERY nice & made the changes so we could all be together. A great way to start a vacation! We only waited 15 minutes or so & then we were boarding!

It's always a thrill when you walk onto that boat & see the Lobby in all it's glory, or should I say Gaudy! The decor is quite different with all the gold urns, naked or almost naked pictures of angels, & people all over the place, halls, elevators, etc. (I thought this was not good for little children to see) & the dark wanna be mahogany woodwork, What a sight!

Found our cabin, never found our steward, Don't know if we even had one. No name plate in the cabin. We did see one guy around a bit, but he hid his head like he was ashamed, every time we walked by. Maybe he was, by the way he didn't clean our cabin. We've never had a steward as bad as he/she was. There were red sequins on the bathroom floor the first day we got there, & they were still there the day we disembarked. Never even got the bathroom shelves wiped, or had the counter cleaned the whole week. Needless to say we still left a tip. Found out that others on our floor did not. Read more
