This cruise was everything I dreamed a cruise should be for a honeymoon. The atmosphere was luxurious, relaxing and also had a party atmosphere. Everything we wanted in a vacation. A place to dance the night away to music we enjoy. Amazing food options all over the ship. Fun casino experience. Amazing shows and their Scarlett night made the last sea day a wonderful experience. The furniture throughout the ship was unique for each location and made you feel as though you were in a luxury resort - which we were on the ocean. The Virgin beach club at Bimini was beautiful. I wish they had jet ski rentals and other things at the location. Instead, if you wanted to do any of those things you had to find somewhere else to go. I loved that it was also all-inclusive so you can enjoy the food and drinks and if you wanted then go out and explore the island. The service was amazing and I could not imagine a better experience on any other ship. I will be back and I'm counting the days.
Cabin Review
It was large enough for two people and we had plenty of space to store 2 large suitcases. The bathroom itself did not have a door. However there was a door for the shower and toilet. The downside is when you use the restroom in the middle of the night the light shines and could wake up the person sleeping.
Port Reviews
Bimini
We went to the Virgin Beach Club which is also all-inclusive. It was nice not paying extra for an excursion, food, etc. However, I wanted to do more than sit at a pool and beach. While I did enjoy that experience I wish they had jet-ski rentals and other options at their beach club. We did take the free trolley to the casino at Resorts World and looking back wish we would have rented a golf cart to explore.
Puerto Plata
The way they had the excursions set up at the port was the most organized I have ever seen. It was so easy to find the group and everything was purchased through Virgin. The port itself also had a free pool and lazy river with shops for all those souvenirs you may want. However, I encourage everyone to get out of the port and experience the island. It was beautiful and buggy ride we took was a lot of fun.
