I had always wanted to go on a Viking cruise after listening to many of my friends who had previously travelled on Viking. The Danube voyage did not disappoint. Budapest was much lovelier than I had expected. Each of the tours, be it Budapest, Bratislava, Wien, Krems, or Linz was conducted with professionalism and very informative. I appreciated the fact that each tour was rated as to the degree of difficulty, as my companion had some mobility issues.

I could not have asked for a more delightful crew on board the Embla. Always friendly and several knew my name. The food and wine was regional and wonderful.
