My wife and I enjoy the convince of the Port of Baltimore as well as the atmosphere of the smaller ships. The boarding process was quick and easy. Royal Caribbean changed our boarding time from 1030 to 1130 to allow more time to prep the ship. We booked a Junior Suite on the 8th deck near the rear of the ship. I would recommend that you don't book this room if noise bothers you. We thought by choosing a room away from the solarium pool and under the SPA thinking we would get no "chair noise. What we didn't know is that the service elevator is located in that same area. Every thing that goes to the 9th deck passes through that elevator. We didn't hear the elevator at all. What we did hear is the rolling of the heavy carts coming and going all night. We also had noise rom the Park Café kitchen. I didn't' ask anyone in the rooms next to me or on the starboard side but I am sure they herd it as well. I am a ex Navy sailor so it didn't really impact my sleep but my wife complained about it each night. The deck plans don't show this elevator nor did I see any reviews about it. In the future we will either move forward or all the way back to the rooms on the stern. Besides the room the trip was amazing. I have cruised on Enchantment and Grandeur of the Seas but neither of these compare to the Vision. For its age it is in amazing shape. They must have an amazing "Engineer".

We ate in the dining room 6 out of the 9 nights and didn't have a bad experience. The new menus were great and the food was always hot, even the French onion soup.

We ate at Chops and Giovani's and both were amazing.
