This was our second Viking Cruise. We had the same type room which did not disappoint. The cleaning staff kept our room very clean. The view of the Danube was great although when you are parked in a lock, you don’t see anything.

The excursions were well organized and interesting. We loved Vienna especially but did not feel that Slovakia offered much. I would recommend a different port. It rained quite a bit when we were in Linz, Austria but our guide took us to a very nice coffee house with warm drinks and pastries. The cathedrals in every city were beautiful. The Budapest Market was interesting. Glad we walked to it. Loved Gottweig.

Our program director, Stephen Guy, is very talented and a real people person. He was there to both assist and entertain. The food selections were very nice and the main chef engaged with the passengers. We played Trivia and it was a lot of fun. As always, meeting people from all walks of life is wonderful part of the experience.

Deluxe Stateroom

This was our second trip in less than a year. We adjusted the room temperature very quickly, which was a bit of an issue last time. Maybe could use more movie and news selections.

The cleaning g staff did a good job. Soaps, shampoo, lotions, water were always replaced in a timely manner.
