We selected this cruise because I wanted to go across the Atlantic one more time; however, as a civilian. I have several transatlantic crossings under my belt as a USN sailor. This particular cruise had several stops, as some do not. This made my wife happy. We also got a very good price by booking about two years in advance.

The food was great. The entertainment was better than average. Having a "Butler" was above and beyond. The general staff was great.

There are things that needed improvement. The most important is that the "Horizons" lounge was closed on three nights due to "special events". The one that bothered me most was when we went by the Rock of Gibralter, and this lounge was closed. A good place to view the "rock" was closed off and many cruisers were trying to see it. Yes, we could have stood out on the deck and see it; however, it was very windy. Instead, the staff had a staff appreciation party in Horizons, which closed it off to the passengers that paid for the cruise. This is actually my biggest sticking point.
