The decision was based on the itinerary, dates offered, excursions included in price, and air fare included. The unknown would be if the initial cost was going to be worth the trip. First, the customer service in first rate all through the ship. The cleanliness was like a brand new ship. The cleaning staff when above and beyond to meet your every need. The beverage manager actually placed an order for Diet Coke for me and had it delivered to the ship. They only had coke and Coke Zero and I preferred Diet Coke. Without hesitation he said he would get it for me. I had Diet Coke for the whole 15 day trip. The steward always made sure the refrigerator was full. The spa was outstanding, and the massage staff were highly trained. I would say the best spa experience I have ever had. The excursions that were included, were long enough to get enough education and information about the area or country you were visiting without taking up the whole day. You always had time to do things on your own. The port stops were areas that were unique and custum to the area, not always major tourist hubs. The ship gave you a relaxed, homogeneous environment that you could definitely relax in as well has have lots of fun. The addition, of online educational videos and port talks was a bonus to the education of your up and coming excursion.
