Entertainment was hit and miss. More misses. The Hawaiian couple were very talented. Not only performing each day but even teaching ukulele and hula to passengers with a presentation at the end. The ship singers and dancers performed 2 shows over a 15 day cruise, really? The other nights were comedians, magicians, and game shows. The destination and subject matter speakers were good, even if not all the topics were to my liking, they were knowledgeable. The visiting hula troupe was very good. The musicians were very good. Especially the violin players, the ship's orchestra,

Maybe game shows is what people want to see but it was too much and it is cheaper than a main theater show. But biggest issue in my opinion was the cruise director and staff. They are not all bad but the cruise director needs to take speech lessons and more mature. The cruise director on a 3,000 passenger plus ship should be more professional, not speak in a "sing song " manner, or elevate her voice when she gets excited. One of the most disappointing entertainment line-up especially with 10 days at sea.

The dining room food was good. although not as extensive as in the past. Overall the staff was good but on some evenings, service was very slow, not sure why. The quality of the buffet has definitely declined. Never went there for dinner especially after the food of breakfast and lunch. Breakfast was exactly the same each day except for the starch. It was pancakes, or french toast, or waffles. Lunch was go to the grill or pizzeria or better yer yet the International cafe. The International cafe was the saving spot for lunch. It was always crowded but the staff was excellent handling the demand. The sandwiches were great as were the desserts.

Cabin Review

The cabin was standard. Our room steward was great. He tried to work around our schedule (we are early risers). Did a very good job. We had a few special requests and issues and he addressed them all promptly.

All the stewards on our floor are overworked. I do hope Princess is paying them more for all the extra rooms they have to clean (in addition to our increased daily tip amount).
